Do Not Fear

These three words have been repeated across centuries, written in sacred texts, spoken on every terrain, and shared in both war and peace. Humanity has needed to be reminded infinite times, and continues now.

Do not fear is actually a feeling disguised as logic.

It is ancient, protective, and powerful. Like honey pouring into our ear, this feeling tells us to withdraw, assume, and accept the status quo.

Every major spiritual institution understood that “do not fear” shrinks perspectives, hurts relationships, and limits the capacity to see clearly.

Instead, when faced with the unknown, hurt, and lack of control, Do not fear

Or, after at a graduation, in the middle of a divorce, during change, and when there is death, Do not fear.

Be brave by speaking when the voice shakes, stay kind when the heart hurts, and challenge against the negative messages common within.

Do not fear is rooted in trust, grace and love. The encouragement had to be repeated countless times because life keeps giving us new reasons to be afraid. I recommend a daily reminder.

The Take away:

This boost echoes through people and time. It is a feeling, not logic, and begs us to be persistent not perfect.

Do not fear, but rather LOVE.
